Merritt RCMP have found the wanted van

MERRITT – With the help from the public, RCMP have located the van allegedly involved in child luring.

“We had an influx in calls and tips after the initial release this morning and want to thank the public for their assistance in helping locate the van and individuals involved,” Says Sgt. Josh Roda.

On October 26, shortly after 3:45 p.m., police said the van was found and the the two occupants have been identified.

Officers are again urging parents to remind their children about stranger safety.
