Nicola Valley Hospital ER to close Friday for tenth occasion in 0206

Interior Health (IR) has announced that the Nicola Valley Hospital Emergency Department will be closed for 11-hours on Friday.

The ER will be closed Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

IR recommends that those requiring emergency care can access care at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops or the Kelowna General Hospital.

This marks the tenth closure of the Nicola Valley Hospital Emergency Room of 2026.

Interior Health also noted that all other impatient services will continue as normal at the Nicola Valley Hospital.
