While no official health warnings have been issued by Environment Canada, residents in the Nicola Valley could certainly smell and sometimes taste the smoke from the Brunswick Creek Wildfire on Monday.
The 1230 hectares wildfire which was discovered on July 2, has grown more than tenfold this week, with crews battling difficult terrain using helicopters, including aircraft equipped for night operations.
During these smokie times, anyone experiencing any difficulty breathing should seek medical help.
Q101 will continue to follow the smoke situation as more details become available.
