Cougar Siting In Lower Nicola

The Lower Nicola Indian Band (LNIB) is warning residents of a dangerous animal in the area.
This week a large cougar was reportedly seen near Rocky Pines Bridge and was described as showing little fear of people.
Community members are encouraged to use caution in the area, keep children and pets close, and remain aware of their surroundings.
