Police in Kamloops are asking for help in finding a 38-year-old wanted man who allegedly failed to comply with his curfew.
RCMP say a Canada-wide warrant was recently issued for Kurtis Justin Billy, who remains unlawfully at large.
Billy is described as an Indigenous man, standing five-foot-seven, weighing 161 lbs. Police also say he has brown eyes and black hair.
“It is believed that Kurtis Billy is in the Kamloops area, but he may be travelling back and forth to Abbotsford or other locations as well,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Dana Napier said. “If anyone sees Kurtis Billy or has information related to his whereabouts, please do not approach, but instead contact your nearest police detachment as soon as possible.”
The Kamloops RCMP Detachment can be reached at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). People with information are asked to cite Abbotsford file 2026-1705.
