A wind warning has been issued for the Connector from Merritt to Kelowna with winds of up to 90 km/h, making driving difficult tonight.
Other highways to be affected by the Pacific frontal system include:
- Highway 5 from Merritt to Kamloops
- Highway 5, Merritt to Hope
- Highway 3 from Hope to Princeton via the Allison Pass
Meanwhile, a snowfall warning has been issued for the Trans-Canada highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass, where 20-30 cm of snow is expected to accumulate.
