Citxw Nlaka’pamux Assembly announce new Executive Director Nicole Johnny
MERRITT — After an extensive search process, the Citxw Nlaka’pamux Assembly (CNA) has appointed a new Executive Director.
Nicole Johnny will step into the role after working with the organization for about eight years.
Nicole’s journey with CNA began in 2017, where she was well known for “demonstrating unwavering dedication and commitment to CNA’s mission, values, staff, and members.”
Over the years, Nicole has held increasingly more senior roles within CNA, which helped paved her way towards becoming an Excecutive Director.

Nicole has worked closely with both the previous General Manager and Executive Director, gaining invaluable insights and experience that have prepared her for this pivotal role.
Notably, Nicole has been serving CNA as the Acting Executive Director since November 2023.
