Fog advisories issued for Coquihalla Highway and Okanagan Connector

Environment Canada issued fog advisories for Highway 5 from Kamloops to Merritt and Highway 97C from Kelowna to Merritt.

The weather agency says continuing low-level moisture and a lingering surface ridge of high pressure is creating areas of dense fog. Visibility may be significantly reduced.

Additionally, a fog advisory is in effect for the North Okanagan, meaning visibility may be reduced on Highway 97 from Monte Lake to Vernon.
