Michael Felsing named third star of the Week, two Cents named honourable mentions.
BCHL | 3 Stars of the Week
MERRITT — Merritt Centennials All Star representative Michael Felsing was named the third star of the week after a couple of monster games.
Felsing had 3 goals and 2 assists good for 5 points in just two games.
Jaxson Murray and newly acquired Jack Ziliotto were honorable mentions.
Murray had 1 goal and 3 assists for 4 points in 2 games while Zack Ziliotto had 4 helpers in 2 games with the Cents.
After scoring just 1 goal and 5 points in 23 games with Alberni Valley Ziliotta has 5 assists in 5 games since joining Merritt.
Former Centennial Tristan Allen got second star honors.

The Cents are 1-1-0-0 on their four game home stand. The weekend started poorly with West Kelowna trouncing the Cents 8-3 in a game where the Warriors went up 4-0 early in the first period.
Merritt would bounce back next game crushing the Victoria Grizzlies 6-3. The game started with the Grizzlies Malcolm Green putting the visitors on the board first before the Cents would rattle off four unanswered goals.
Defenseman Ocean Fancy nearly scored a hat trick for the Cents who beat Victoria 6-2 in Seattle and 6-3 at the NVMA.
Despite being one of the best defensive teams in the BCHL the Cents just seemed to have the Grizzlies’ number this season.
Merritt ends the home stand with a game against Trail on Saturday then a matinee game Sunday against the Penticton Vees.
