Water Service Interruption for Merritt

MERRITT — The City of Merritt has announced a water service interruption today (January 12th, 2024.)

Crews will be working on water lines today on the 3400 Block of Voght Street (Not the Hospital) and 4000 Block of Walters.

This will include Merritt Suites, Olympic Villas, Quality Inn and Royal Lepage.

Water will be off for the duration of the work.

Merrittonians are thanked for their patience and careful driving during the construction on Voght street.

With temperatures close to Minus 30 Celsius drivers are reminded to leave plenty of room in front of themselves and other vehicles as braking time can be affected by the icy roads.
