Locally owned Kekuli Cafe will celebrate five year anniversary December 1st

MERRITT — It’s the five year anniversary of the successful Kekuli Café Merritt. The location has become a classic cornerstone of the town of Merritt. Not only has the bakery branched off to other locations around British Columbia it’s run by Merritt’s own Elijah Mack.
Elijah’s Mack gave a heartfelt thank you to all his mentors that have led to him this far.
“Sharon Bondhogg, and Darren Hogg hired me. Trained me. Mentored me. Drug me through the mud and helped me achieve this very huge endeavor in my life. December 1st 2018 I took the biggest step in my life. And I couldn’t be more grateful for everyone that has been part of this journey. Mama bear Cella Mack ,father Barney Stirling. My brothers and my sister Miguel Mack, Levi Mack, Casey Mack-Stirling, Cynthia Snow, Peter Snow. My incredible staff Debra Jewell-Eisinga, Johnny Collins, Bren A Bond, Dakota Heaton, Christa Faye Ahdemar (since day 1.)
A thank you to all my friends, family, and our amazing guests. Please come celebrate with me by having a free taco on us! Door prizes! Cake! Celebration!”
As Elijah mentioned there will be free veggie tacos, and other delicacies for those who wish to attend on December 1st.
The celebration will run from 10 am to 2 p.m. then 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (December 1st.)
