You can find more details and sign up for both classes right here.
Nona Tickner is teaching the Print Making class and we want to share a short introduction from her with you:
I graduated from Emily Carr College of Art and Design as a Printmaking Major. While I raised three children I always managed to keep creating, marking art for Distance Education, I had a shared business printing women’s clothing and finally I was fortunate enough to work within the school district aiding students with disabilities in art and shop classes. My hands are always busy and I love creating and teaching. Relief printing is versatile and I continue to use it to decorate many fabric objects ranging from patches, to tea towels, to quilts, to cards, to limited edition prints. We will be making art Cards, I hope you enjoy this workshop!

News from the Merritt Community Choir
A message from Ellen Nast, president of the Merritt Community ChoirMerritt Community Choir has been singing in our Valley for many, many years. Things change over time, but we continue to be a group of people who love to get together and sing. A very significant part of this choir is our accompanist! And we are so thankful to have Margaret Carlson serving in this role for “countless” years – with rarely a miss! We are so spoiled that we can barely function without her. That is why we are on a search for a “back-up” person or possible “future” piano accompanist to join our team. If you are curious to learn more, please contact me; Margaret and I can arrange to have a “chat” with you!
