Spray park closing temporarily for cleaning

MERRITT  – As the temperature this week cools off a bit, the City of Merritt is taking advantage by getting some cleaning done at the spray park.

The City said the spray park, in Rotary Park, will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday, June 14) for maintenance work and cleaning.

“With cooler temperatures tomorrow, it is the ideal time to do this essential work while minimizing the impact to park users,” wrote the City.

The water park will be returning to normal operations on Thursday, June 15.
