MERRITT — Mother Nature is targeting the Coquihalla Highway again. Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the stretch of highway between Merritt and Hope.
It suggests further snow accumulations of around 20-30 cm of snow could lead to difficult driving conditions on the high-mountain highway.
Environment Canada says a frontal system will continue moving in from the north causing heavy snow. The snow will ease Friday afternoon.
It says rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations while reducing visibility suddenly at times.
