Centennials have another commitment for next season

MERRITT – The Merritt Centennials have another forward commit for the 2023-24 season.

Jeffrey Hammond has signed on the line and will be suiting up for the Centennials next season.

The Boothwyn, Pennsylvania native has played in 29 games this season so far for three different teams (Saint Joseph’s Prep, Philadelphia Jr. Flyers 18U AAA, El Paso Rhinos) and has 30 points (12G,18A).

The 18-year-old doesn’t just bring talent up front, but also brings leadership.

“The right shot forward is currently the captain of his team and is trusted in every situation for his club. We look forward to getting him up to Western Canada next fall and in a Centennials uniform,” said Ast. Coach and AGM Sam Waterfield.
