Players to Watch;
The Cents made a flurry of moves before this weekend of action and one of the trades involved a new defenseman going to make it Cents debut. 20-year-old Tyler Bates was acquired from the Calgary Canucks in the AJHL and is coming onto this time to provide veteran leadership.
Owen Beckner is the leading scorer for the Silverbacks. Through 21 games played this season, Beckner has eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points. That issues a 0.95 points per game. Beckner will be looking to boost that number up and average a point per game and lead the Silverbacks offensively against the Cents.
