Deputy Chief Elections Officer appointed within Merritt

MERRITT – Ahead of the municipal election, the City of Merritt has appointed their Deputy Chief Elections Officer.

Current City Community Planner, Janna Bradshaw, was voted unanimously in last nights council meeting.

Normally, the Director of Corporate Services is appointed the role but that job is currently vacant within the city, so Bradshaw has agreed to take on the position for the election.

General voting day is Saturday, October 15.
