Search continues for Jacqueline McDermott

MERRITT – It has been over a week since Jacqueline McDermott has been last seen or heard from but officers aren’t giving up hope.

Sgt. Josh Roda, Merritt RCMP, said Search and Rescue (SAR) are resuming their search efforts at Mamit Lake tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m.

He said they will continue searching throughout the weekend.

Roda added they (RCMP) have had many people volunteer to search and if anyone in the public is welcome to go join in the search, please contact the Merritt RCMP location to have your name listed as volunteer searcher. Please do not just show up at Mamit Rd.
