Four small wildfires have broken out near Nooaitch

MERRITT – Since late last night (July 17) and so far this morning (July 18) four small wildfires have been sparked near Nooaitch.

The BC Wildfire Service says all four of the Speous Creek, Cummings Road, Petey Creek Road, and Edgar Creek wildfires are sitting at 0.009 hectares in size.

Officals said initial attack crews are on scene working to put out the flames.

The cause of the fires is still unknown.
