MSS students graduate

MERRITT – For the Merritt Secondary School grad class of 2021/2022, their high school journey is now over.

102 students put on their caps and gowns last night and walked across the stage to receive their high school diplomas.

Within a packed Nicola Valley Memorial Arena full of family of friends, MLA Jackie Tegart, Mayor Linda Brown, and SD58 Superintendent Steven McNiven were in attendance to support the grad class.

The night started with the grad walk from the high school to the arena at 6:30 p.m. followed by the actual grad ceremony at 7:00 p.m..

Graduates will go around town tomorrow in the grad parade.
