Organizers of the Bass Coast Music Festival which happens in Merritt, July 8-11th are announcing that the event is sold out.
However, Merritt residents who want to go to the three day extravaganza can still get tickets locally.
Co-organizer Andrea Graham says a select amount of tickets for Merritt residents only are available at the 378-Board Shop on Quilchena. Any Merrittonian wanting to purchase tickets need to show some documentation of your local address.
Graham says that while not having the event since 2019 was one reason why tickets sold so quickly, she added that hosting it in a city like Merritt is also a huge draw.
“I feel that because Merritt is such a beautiful community to host an event like this makes it a huge draw,” Graham stated. “The concert site is protected in its own little zone with a beautiful river running through it and it’s simply spectacular.”
Graham added that the hospitality of the community keeps visitors coming back year after year.
“We’ve had many attendees tell us that they discovered Merritt thru Bass Coast but now many of them return to the area to go fishing or camping which says a lot for the community,” Graham said.
Again, any locals wanting tickets to this year’s Bass Coast can visit 378-Board Shoppe on Quilchena Ave. and you must produced documentation with a Merritt address.
More to come
