Councillor Luck moves notice of motion regarding unsightly premises

Merritt City Councillor Tony Luck has moved a notice of motion to have staff prepare a report regarding unsightly properties in the community. It was noted that the issue is not regarding any of the properties damaged by the November floods.

“This has been a concern of the public, i would like staff to investigate ideas with how to deal with a number of unsightly and untidy properties. I know we have bylaws but they aren’t being enforced,” said Luck.

As per procedure, the motion will be brought back and debated at the next meeting of council, scheduled for March 22, 2022.
