B.C. to begin easing restrictions Thursday

The Province of B.C. Is going to begin easing COVID-19 restrictions on Thursday.
Premier John Horgan made the announcement this afternoon along with Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Minister Adrian Dix.
The measures being relaxed Thursday; (Masks and vaccine cards still required)
- Indoor personal gatherings return to normal
- Indoor & outdoor organized gatherings allowed full capacity, dancing allowed
- Indoor seated events allowed full capacity
- Fitness centers, adult sports, dance, swimming return to normal
- No sports tournament restrictions
- Restaurants, bars, and nightclubs return to normal
Measures that will remain in place and be reviewed;
- Masks in indoor public places
- BC Vaccine card
- COVID safety plans
- Long-term care visitation restrictions
- K-12 & child care guidelines
- Faith community guidelines
- Restrictions on child and youth overnight camps
- Industrial camp order
