According to the latest release from the Ministry of Health Monday (Feb. 7), there are 987 people in hospital with COVID-19, an increase of 41 from Friday.
There are 141 people in intensive care, up from 139 on Friday.
Thirty-two people died of COVID-19 over the past three days, including three in Interior Health. The B.C. pandemic death toll is now 2,707.
The ministry says it received 3,287 new positive cases over the past three days, including 999 in Interior Health — the highest total of any B.C. health authority.
Of all British Columbians aged five and older eligible for COVID-19 vaccination, 90.2 per cent have received their first dose while 84.6 per cent have received a second dose. Of all eligible residents aged 12 and older, 49.7 per cent have received three doses.
