School District 58 Superintendent Steve McNiven has sent a letter home to parents of Colletville Elementary School families stating that a ‘COVID-19 potential activity signal’ has been met.
The signal is based on an attendance threshold at the school.
Public Health officials have been called in to investigate the situation.
“Because people are absent we do not know if there is increased COVID-19 activity in our school,” said McNiven.
More to come.
