Merritt records 33 new COVID-19 cases

The BC Centre for Disease Control has released the latest Local Health Area (LHA) COVID-19 data, covering the week of January 2-8, 2022.

The Merritt LHA recorded 33 new cases of the virus, an increase from the 10 cases reported a week ago.

The Kamloops area saw 206 new cases this week, a decrease from 261 cases.
