Merritt records 10 new COVID cases

The BC Centre for Disease Control has released the latest Local Health Area (LHA) COVID-19 data, covering the week of December 26 – January 1.
The Merritt LHA saw a jump in the case counts from three a week ago to ten new cases this week.
The Kamloops LHA saw more than 100 new weekly COVID-19 cases with 261 being reported.
- Kamloops – 261 (up by 109 from last week)
- Cariboo/Chilcotin – 46 (up by 14)
- North Thompson – six (down by six)
- 100 Mile House – 14 (up by nine)
- South Cariboo – five (up by one)
- Lillooet – seven (up by seven)
- Merritt – 10 (up by seven)
- Vernon – 181 (up by 103)
- Armstrong-Spallumcheen – 22 (up by 12)
- Enderby – six (down by seven)
- Salmon Arm – 88 (up by 27)
- Revelstoke – 257 (up by 115)
- Central Okanagan (Kelowna) – 625 (up by 358)
