Merritt extending bill payments and grant applications

The City of Merritt is extending the deadline to pay utility bills, while also pushing back the grant-in-aid process and business license renewals.

Merritt residents now have until December 31^st to pay their utility bills in order to receive a discount from City Hall. To accommodate payments City Hall will be open on December 30 and 31^st for bill payments.

Business licenses renewals have been pushed from December 31^st, to March 1^st.

The grant-in-aid application deadline was December 15^th, but is now January 14^th.
