The City of Merritt is extending the deadline to pay utility bills, while also pushing back the grant-in-aid process and business license renewals.
Merritt residents now have until December 31st to pay their utility bills in order to receive a discount from City Hall. To accommodate payments City Hall will be open on December 30 and 31st for bill payments.
Business licenses renewals have been pushed from December 31st, to March 1st.
The grant-in-aid application deadline was December 15th, but is now January 14th.
