Merritt’s LHA records two new COVID-19 cases

The BC Centre for Disease Control has released the latest local health area (LHA) COVID-19 figures, covering the week of November 28 – December 4.
The Merritt LHA recorded two new cases of the virus, an increase from last weeks zero.
The Kamloops local health area saw a nearly 50 per cent increase in weekly COVID-19 cases. Kamloops saw 114 new COVID-19 cases, up by 39 from the previous week.
Central Okanagan saw a slight increase, while weekly cases slightly decreased in the Vernon, Shuswap, and Cariboo/Chilcotin regions.
