B.C. finds 338 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday; active caseload drops
B.C. is reporting 338 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday (Nov. 16), with marked decreases in the active caseloads in both B.C. and Interior Health.
There were 39 new cases of the virus in IH Tuesday.
There are now 3,568 active cases of COVID-19 in B.C., a decrease of 269 from Monday. In Interior Health, there are 683 active cases, a decrease of 79.
B.C. hospitals are treating 376 COVID-19 patients, including 107 in intensive care.
One more person has died of the virus, raising the B.C. death toll to 2,274.
There are 23 facilities in B.C. with active COVID-19 outbreaks, though that includes four separate outbreaks at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
The proportion of eligible British Columbians fully vaccinated against COVID-19 has reached 86.8 per cent. For one dose, the proportion is 90.7 per cent.
