Wednesday night’s Centennials’ game cancelled

It should come as no surprise, but Head Coach and GM of the Merritt Centennials Dave Chyzowski has confirmed that Wednesday night’s game in Penticton against the Vees will be cancelled.

It’s still unclear what the fate of Merritt’s upcoming home games will be. As currently scheduled, Merritt is supposed to welcome Vernon to the NVMA on Friday, and Prince George on Saturday.

The Merritt Centennials are not the only BCHL team currently displaced, as Coquitlam is currently stuck in Kamloops due to highway closures. Their next game is scheduled to be at home versus Trail this weekend.
