Merritt records nine new COVID-19 cases

The BC Centre for Disease Control has released their latest local health area COVID-19 data covering the week of October 24 to 30.
The Merritt area saw nine new cases of the virus, an increase of two cases from the week prior.
After a brief increase last week, the Kamloops LHA saw 131 COVID-19 cases, a small decrease of 14.
- Kamloops – 131 (down by 14 from last week)
- Cariboo/Chilcotin – 56 (up by four)
- North Thompson – four (down by one)
- 100 Mile House – nine (up by six)
- South Cariboo – four (up by four)
- Lillooet – eight (up by three)
- Vernon – 66 (down by three)
- Armstrong-Spallumcheen – 15 (down by two)
- Enderby – nine (down by 24)
- Salmon Arm – 43 (down by four)
- Revelstoke – 11 (up by five)
- Central Okanagan (Kelowna) – 121 (down by 36)
