Merritt records 17 new COVID-19 cases

The BC Centre for Disease Control has released the latest local health area COVID-19 data, covering the week of October 10-16.
The Merritt area did see a decrease in the weekly count from 24 to 17 cases this week. The daily rate is marked between 15.1 and 20 per 100,000 people.
Kamloops saw 118 new cases, which is still at an average daily rate per 100,000 population in between 10.1 and 15.
