Covid Blamed for 28 Deaths In BC

Health officials with the province announced that 2090 new cases of Covid-19, including four epi-linked cases were diagnosed over the four-day period from Oct. 8 to 12th.
Currently there are 5183 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. Of the active cases, 357 individuals are in hospital and 153 are in intensive care. In the past 96 hours, 28 new deaths have been reported, for an overall total of 2,029 including eight deaths here in the Interior Health Region.
Over the same four-day period, the Interior Health Region reported 404 cases of Covid-19 with 841 active cases.
