Evacuation Alerts near July Mountain lifted; Fire now being held

The Evacuation Alerts in Electoral Area āNā (Beautiful Nicola Valley-South), for 133 properties, have been rescinded to all clear as the threat of wildfire in the area no longer poses an imminent risk to the safety of residents.
The Alerts were put in place at 1000 hrs on August 30, 2021, 1000 hrs on August 31, 2021, 1400 hrs on September 2, 2021, and 1300 hrs on September 3, 2021 for the following properties addressed as:
- 5815 Brookmere Rd;
- 872 to 933 Brookmere Station Rd;
- 240 and 280 Busby Rd;
- 905 to 920 Caboose Lane;
- 3400 to 3785 Cantlon Rd;
- 2761 to 5633 Coldwater Rd;
- 5135 to 5147 Conductor Way;
- 5120 to 5132 Engineer Ave;
- 3040 to 3097 Figlenski Rd;
- 233 to 333 Gillis Rd;
- 5644 to 5868 Juliet Dr;
- 6705 Juliet Dr
- 440 to 2985 Kane Valley Rd;
- 5105 to 5152 Railway Dr;
- 852 to 1016 Roundhouse Dr;
The July Mountian wildfire remains as 19,080 hectares and is now classified as being held by the BC Wildfire Service. The suspected lightning caused blaze was first discovered back on July 13, 2021.
