Logan Lake Health Centre Re-Opens After Evacuation Order

Here’s another sign that life is getting back to normal in Logan Lake today, as the Health Centre in that community is has re-opened following the community being evacuated just a few weeks ago.

On Aug. 12, residents were put on an evacuation order as the Tremont Creek wildfire came dangerously close to the northern boundary of the community.

Just seven days later (Aug.19) residents of Logan Lake were allowed to return home following the evacuation order being rescinded by BC Wildfire Service.

Logan Lake Health Centre re-opened with regular services today, thanks in part to the positive changes in the ongoing wild fire situation.  Logan Lake residents are advised that  lab services will be re-opening for outpatient collections effective Friday.
