Merritt RCMP investigating weekend drowning

The Merritt RCMP have confirmed to Q101 News that they’re investigating a drowning at Nicola Lake on August 15, 2021.
Sgt. Josh Roda stated no further details would be released by the Mounties at this time out of respect for the family.
The BC Coroners Service is in the early stages of their own investigation and won’t be provided details at this time.
