Zero weekly COVID-19 cases in Merritt

The BC Centre for Disease Control has released the latest local health area COVID-19 data covering the week of July 11-17, reporting zero new cases of the virus in Merritt.
The local health area has now recorded back to back weeks with zero new cases and 15 weeks straight of single-digit or zero case increases.
Around the Interior, Kamloops recorded 11 new cases, an increase from six a week ago, Kelowna also increased to 53 from 42.
On Wednesday Health officials reported 78 new cases of the virus across BC, including 31 in the Interior.
In addition, 81.1% (3,507,707) of all eligible adults in B.C. have received their first dose and 59.0% (2,552,325) have received their second dose.
