KAMLOOPS — Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo MP Cathy McLeod says her constituency office in Kamloops was broken into on New Year’s Day.
McLeod says whoever committed the crime had gone directly to her own office and rifled through drawers and files in that room.
Nothing appeared to have been taken. She adds all of the constituent files are completely secure.
McLeod says she doesn’t know the motivation behind the break-in.
“It wasn’t a sort of go in and vandalize. Obviously, the door was significantly damaged, but it was someone rooting through my office, is what it was.”
