A big step to the formation of the 2019-20 Centennials begins today.
The Centennials are opening their annual June Abbotsford Summer Camp running today until Sunday at the Summit Centre.
The first practices will begin this morning at 10:00am with players starting to be pitted against each other at 2pm.
Head Coach and General Manager Barry Wolff says that with over 7 teams competing he's excited to get the camp started.
"The talent level is high and we expect to identify players for not only the upcoming season, but also for the future. I'd like to thank the City of Abbotsford, the Rinks at the Summit Centre, and all the volunteers that will help to make this a successful camp."
Camp will continue on Saturday with games beginning at 8am. A short break for an NCAA seminar, before games continuing to 4:30pm. Sunday will see the players skate from 8:45-11:00am.
