The recent blast of cold weather to hit the Nicola Valley is spelling relief for those without shelter as the Shelter from the Storm has open it's doors again this week.
Coordinator Jody Loewen says as the temperatures have dipped the doors will be open again tonight until at least Saturday night at 6:30 each evening.
The shelter offers a warm safe place to sleep, get a bowl of hot soup and good cup of coffee at the Crossroads Community Church at 2990 Voght Street across from Central Park, behind the car wash.
The entrance is through the big white door at the rear of the church.
