For the second time this season, the Merritt Centennials are on a three game winning streak after a 3-2 overtime victory against Victoria last night.

Max Vallis notched the winner with 55 seconds left in the extra frame.

Evan Stack and Jeff Jones also scored for the Cents. Jones added an assist to extend his point streak to seven games while Lino Chimienti lowered his goals-against-average to 2.71 after allowing two goals on 29 shots. Chimienti's numbers are good for sixth in the B-C-H-L.

Merritt remains ten points back of fifth place Westside in the Interior after the Warriors knocked off Penticton 6-4 last night. The Vees visit the Centennials tomorrow.
