A late item at last week’s city council meeting was nearly forgotten.
Following a lengthy regular meeting, Council and Staff began a closed session to discuss internal matters. The only problem was that item 9.6, a late item on the agenda, had been forgotten.
The motion read; Council approve submitting an Infrastructure Planning Grant application for development of a 10-year Infrastructure Capital Plan.
Following Council’s closed session, the public meeting was continued and Will George, Manager of Communications, tells Q101 the late motion was passed.
“Council came back into session at 9:41 pm, Sean Smith introduced the item, it was moved, second, and carried unanimously,” confirmed George.
The total project cost is up to $15,000 with the City funding up to $5,000.
