This afternoon the puck will be dropped for the start of the 2020 Law Enforcement Charity Hockey Tournament.
The three-day event will run all-weekend with games taking place at the NVMA and the Shulus Arena.
This year 14 teams from around the Interior will be descending on the City looking to set a new donation record. Last year the event raised around $23,000 and this year’s goal is to top the $25,000 mark. All the money raised is donated to the BC Children’s Hospital.
Along with the hockey on the ice, spectators will have a long list of raffle and silent auction items to bid on.
The first game of the tourney begins today (Friday) at 2:00 pm at the NVMA.
