Two suspects are being sought in connection with an overnight robbery with a firearm at the Corbett Lake Lodge on Hwy 97C early Monday morning.

Cpl. Brock Hedrick of the RCMP reported that officers were called to the location at approximately 3:50 a.m. when a male and female suspect were interrupted by staff of the lodge while committing the break and enter. Hedrick added that the suspects reportedly had firearms in their possession in addition to the stolen guns.
The suspects made off in a light coloured sedan towards Merritt but not before stealing firearms and personal items belonging to staff.

The male suspect is decribed as 6' and is either Indigenous or part Asian. He has short dark hair and could be in his late twenties or early thirties. The female suspect was described as white with a pale complexion and dark hair in a pony tail, in her 20's or 30's with a possible Italian accent.

If anyone has dash camera footage on Hwy 97C on or about the time of the crime, please contact Merritt RCMP or call Crime Stoppers.
