The Merritt RCMP has released details on four separate cases involving one person, Beverly Marie Tom.
Cpl. Brock Hedrick provided the information on each file for the 45-year-old;
Robbery occurring on October 9, 2018, at a Merritt convenience store.
Tom has been sentenced to 284 days in jail, 2 years of probation for Robbery, the Charge of wearing a disguise while committing an offence was stayed.
In relation to an incident at a local Merritt Pub on November 11, 2018
Tom has been sentenced to 90 days in jail and probation for two years. She was also sentenced to 15 days for Breach of Undertaking and a stay of proceedings was entered in relation to the charge of Obstructing a Peace Officer.
On December 12, 2018, Merritt RCMP was called to a local housing complex for a noise complaint. Merritt RCMP members attended and took a female into custody, the female assaulted one of the responding officers and was charged with assaulting a police officer.
Tom was charged with assaulting a peace officer and two counts of breach. Tom has been sentenced to 30 days in jail for the Assault on a peace officer and 15 days for one of the breaches the other breach was stayed.
Tom was charged with Breach (x 2) for disobeying her court-ordered conditions. Tom has been sentenced to one day in jail for this crime.
