Three people face a myriad of charges after arrests in Merritt on Sunday night.
Merritt RCMP were called to a residence after receiving a complaint that a gun was pointed at an individual. When the Mounties arrived at the scene, they arrested a Kamloops man who police said is well-known to them. They also detained a woman who was hiding in a bathroom who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Merritt RCMP Staff Sgt. Lorne Woods said the subject of the original complaint was a 33-year-old Merritt resident, who is currently being held while awaiting charges.
Woods also confirmed that three firearms were seized during the arrests.
