Merritt Golf and Country Club hoping to fully reopen by the end of July.
Head professional Sydney Van Rensburg says nearly $400,000 in damage occurred at the course due to flooding from the Nicola River in May.
It's more than double the cost from 2017.
"There was basically a river running through the back end of the golf course this year. It did a lot more damage than occurred last year just do to ground seepage."
More than a month after flooding first started, the restoration effort is in full swing.
"We are basically re-sodding fairways on hole eight, nine and six, and a few other places. So, a lot of work is going on right now."
Flooding in last two years has caused an estimated $600,000 in damage at the Merritt Golf and Country Club, in addition to lost revenue.
