Merritt’s own Roger Sloan is back on Tour this weekend at the Sony Open in Hawaii.
It will be Sloan’s first appearance in 2021 and first tournament in over a month following a missed cut in early December.
Prior to the missed cut, Sloan was playing some of his best golf making three straight weekend cuts and finishing in the top-32 at each event.
So far this season, Sloan has made four of six cuts and earned $156,339.
The 33-year-old Merrittonian is currently 107th in the FedEx Cup standings. Any golfer in the top 125 at the end of the year secures a tour card for the following season.
Sloan tees off this morning at 10:50 am.
