The BCHL has announced that the regular season has once again been pushed back. The new goal is to begin a season in February.
The announcement from the league comes following Dr. Bonnie Henry extended public health restrictions on public gatherings and sports activity through February 5, 2021.
The league had hoped to begin the pandemic delayed season in January, as the restrictions were initially set to expire Friday.
VIA Sport, the governing body of sports in BC, currently is in phase-2 of their restart plan. Phase-2 allows for individual on-ice practice but no travel for games.
